Celebrating one year of the Pirate and SnT, we decided to celebrate by heading to a intriguing restaurant we had passed many times but never entered. Looking peculiarly Mediterranean from the outside it seemed an odd choice of decor for one of the oldest restaurants in Hk.

It was lusciously ornate inside, with waiters at your beck and call (wearing white gloves none the less) & the sounds of softly playing classical music and hushed conversation in the background. I felt a bit 'pretty woman' when I was suddenly faced with 20 million different pieces of cutlery at my seat, but was saved by said movie by remembering to eat 'from the outside in' thus avoiding any etiquette faux pas.

The food was delicious, as was the vino, and it was a thoroughly delightful evening.

The piece de resistance was this miniature notebook they placed at your seat on the table with your name embossed on the cover. Impressed deluxo.
