Sharing some holiday pics and vids with you guys of my recent trip to South Taiwan (hey, be thankful Im not there to sit you down and force you through a slideshow).
So so beautiful.
This is where we were staying, near Jialeshui:

The View (*sigh)

Map of the southern coast we explored:

On this little zippy orange juice hornet:

Visit to Taiwans Aquarium -2nd biggest in Asia, GIGANTIC... THIS BIG

Where they had a pair of Beluga dolphins, check them out!

And a WHALE shark... totally mesmerizing:

The night market turned the local ghost town, Kenting, into a thriving smelly jostling area for roadside snacks and sparkly tourist shizzle:

And lastly, what trip anywhere in Asia could truely be complete without the photo dosage of bizarre and wonderful discoveries such as these:

Love it!
My husband and I did our honeymoon in Taiwan. Over 10 days we visited Taipei, the hot springs, Ali Shan, and Sun Moon Lake.
We didn't get as far down south as you were, I don't think.
Taiwan has some of the most beautiful landscapes ever. We really enjoy vacationing there.
