Here are those photos from New Years eve I couldn't attach last night.

At work they use American English (very annoying when my laptop tells me I have spelt a word wrong e.g when I type colour, it automatically corrects it to color... grr!) so when people write the date it appears month/day/year. Now is it just me or does it not make more sense to have day/month/year - thus smallest denomination first or this just because I have had the English calendar ingrained in me as being 'correct' ?? Let me know your thoughts, its bugging me and I refuse on principal to change to the American system but my collegues tell me it is too confusing for them if I do not!
