Continuing my quest for dictionary domination have learnt the following additions to my dazzling vocabulary:

Nefarious - extremely wicked or villainous

Prevaricate - to speak falsely or misleadingly

Absquatulate - to flee; abscond

Modicum - a moderate or small amount

Filibuster
- The use of obstructionist tactics, especially prolonged speechmaking, for the purpose of delaying legislative action.

Loquacious / garrulous - talking or tending to talk much or freely
