With the 1st reported case of swine flu here in HK (A Mexican tourist) they have issued immediate quarantine of the hotel of the flu victim, extensive press coverage, and a noticeable increase in hygiene mask wearing.
Apologies for sounding cynical but I do happen to foresee a wave of paranoid... 'oh my god I sneezed therefore I probably have the dreaded swine flu and must take days off sick from work' craze sweeping the workplace anytime soon.
