I would like to reiterate that I never wish to stereotype, only reflect on what I have gathered from personal experiences here in Honky Tonk Town.

Now, with the disclaimer out the way...
Its the wedding dress scenario all over again. Diamante and glitter and foil print and all that is ugly and classless in the fashion world can be found in abundance here !!

There is no doubt a Chinese resident of Western shores writing about how dull and boring and non fun our fashion is on the flip side, just goes to show how much culture brings to personal taste.

So, anyways the reason for my fashion rant is the discovery of this rather glitzy bow deemed 'so pretty la' by a colleague who shall remain nameless.
The ironic thing is that she herself actually has immaculate dress sense, always throwing together the cutest quirky ensembles.

It amused me greatly to be met with surprise when I made a gagging noise at the sight of it.
Am I going to judgment prison??
