WARNING!!!! HK RANT ALERT!!!

Whilst I am pleased to see the Sunday edition of South China Morning Post newspaper highlighting the issue of rubbish debris on our beautiful beaches, I was more than a little shocked to read the copy underneath.

The full paragraph reads:

'And thats just on a weekday... Drink cans and bottles, fast-food wrappers, styrofoam and playthings litter a corner of one of Hong Kong Island's favourite beaches, at Shek O. Visitors using a barbeque area nearby are dumping trash too fast for cleaners, or the sea tides, to clear it away. The problem is worse at weekends, and dog mess litters the whole beach.'
