Well I must say, I knew this whole writing a blog thing would degenerate over time and I have gone from an entry every couple of days to once a week… oh how my (2) readers must be suffering! So anyways here is the latest update on life here in Asia now I am back from my trip home.

To start with, why is there always a million things you have to get done when you get back from a holiday… honestly I need another holiday this weekend just to recover from the busy week!
I went to the British consulate on Monday to get the passport renewed, had to wait nearly 2hours in order to hand over a large sum of money ($2400 HKD!!) and photos which made me look like a criminal… an UGLY criminal! Thank god I can now renew my passport at least once a year, what makes it worse is that I go through customs frequently so many many people will get to experience the horrific nature of what I am calling the ‘photo of doom’. !!

Other chat this week is all work related, have moved desks due to a reshuffle but have only moved 1 meter away so it wasn’t too taxing to shift all of works essentials… like my stapler, pot plant and all my photos of you gorgeous people I like to surround myself with!
It was Chinese Valentines day here on Thursday apparently…. I say apparently because I strangely did not seem to receive anything which Im sure must mean a mix up on the dates because obviously I would be due an overwhelming amount of valentines related gifts of course !!

Random Chinese related fact of the day for you, did you know that China have their own version of Romeo & Juliet, they are called the butterfly lovers and their names are Liang Shanbo & Zhu Yingtai.

Big news here at the mo, I wonder if it has hit the shores of UK, is a scandal with a Hk movie star named Edison Chen who took his laptop to be fixed and there on the hard drive were a large amount of rudey pics of him with several young (and Im talking teenage Disney princess’s of 16-17) actresses being VERY naughty. The pictures got leaked onto the internet and now he has publically apologized and quit the industry… juicy goss!

So, the weekend has arrived before I knew what was creeping up on me! Lisa has now arrived here in Hk so I am going to go down this evening to welcome her and show her the sights n delights of Lan Kwai Fong, have dinner and catch up! Im sorry I still don’t have nay pics to show you my camera is knackered and I need to take it back to get fixed (its on my long to do list aghh!!)… good news is I have arranged to finally get my apple laptop fixed this month but now my phone charger is broken so my phone is not working… so if you are trying to call tomorrow you may be unable to get through because of me having no battery… yet another electrical item to replace (although this was due to be done anyway since I am borrowing my friend mobile at the mo to replace the one I lost) HOPELESS with technology!

Hope that you are all well, missing you lots its bizarre to be back feels like a million years ago now but was only in the UK last week!
Well suppose I better get up and get my ass into gear at long last, love my bed and could quite happily spend all my weekend in it doing nothing but watching dvds!
