Time for another photo update! This time from the legendary event that is the rugby 7's. Basically for those not in the know, it a giant weekend with teams from countries around the world playing short n sweet (7mins each way) rugby matches, inbetween looking all buff and delicious!
Its also an excuse for a giant party and I think you can guess what a rugby crowd is going to be like... you'll be able to tell from the pictures just how mental and messy it was.

Quite a funny story behind how we ended up in the stadium... We didnt have tickets since its such a popular event tickets are like gold dust but decided to head down to the stadium anyway since they were putting up a big screen and beer tent outside for those unlucky ticketless people like me. Amusing to see all the dodgers winding in and out of the crowd touting tickets!

So anyway, there we were just enjoying the sunshine and beer (got super sweaty & sunburnt that day!) and a lovely lady told us that she was going home early and did we want her ticket... for free?! why yes indeedy we replied that would be most welcome indeed. We then went on the biggest ticket scavange in the history of blag to get one more so that we could get into the stadium, a few flutters of the eyelashes later and we were in! Headed straight for the south stand to meet my friend Dave inside and sat down to continue the party... afterwards headed back to the champagne tent for some wine (only sold by the bottle, oh well!) and some interesting chat from two men dressed as marilyn monroe haha. Did a back door boogie once it started to get so messy that people were being de-panted and tackled to the ground and headed into town. Will most definately be getting tickets for the entire weekend next year. Enjoy the pics, im still chuckling now!!
