Hi to all

First of all: Birthday shout outs to Vicky & James! Hope you have a fantabulous birthday and pressies will be winging their way to you shortly (Im a tad behind schedule on everything but its actually part of my cunning plan to prolong bday festivities!)

Im providing warning that posts may be a bit erractic over the next few weeks (well arent they always actually). Clare the cat arrived on Monday and is staying with me for 3weeks. I was hoping to show her some sights on the tues, but it turns out a typhoon decided to blow by, this was not that well received by the cat, who has been desperately hoping for some tanning time whilst in the tropics!

I have recieved my work visa now so just have to activate it (by leaving and returning to Hk) and then I can apply for my ID card and Im officially set to work in Hk... which worries me slightly as Im presuming I should have done all this last year. HR mumbled something about me being in China so it was ok, but if immigration call me then I have been travelling for the last year... ok?! ummmm.... not really! Not that happy about being asked to lie to the authorities and dont really fancy getting deported... shady dealings me thinks but at least it is all now official and above board. Start my new position next month and looking forward to it. I have finished my training year now so have some floaty time to take advantage of (by writing my blog updates etc lol).

Also have Mr Hughes in town on a flying visit, who has appeared in previous entries, and a couple of other people passing through in the next few weeks (as you do) so its quite busy!

So, thats it for the moment, roll on payday and then I should have some more adventures to speak of lol

ooooh.. almost forgot my important news... tentative dates for Uk visit is:
6th Feb - 22nd Feb - just awaiting my ticket confirmation!
