Its easy to forget when you spend your life in an office that a life outside of the city does exist in HK! In fact, there is so much beautiful countryside and gorgeous beaches that I often dont get around to visiting... but with the cat in residence for the last few weeks my memory has been refreshed, and my ass dragged down to the beach. I have to say... why the hell dont I do this every weekend?!

We have spent mucho tanning time indulging in the beautiful sandy beaches set against the most gorgeous mountain backdrops, and the weather is just marvelous at the moment, not too hot, low humidity and BREEZY!! I love this time of year in Hk, it makes it almost the perfect place ever! And the sudden re-appearance of wind (helloooo, where have you been all sodding summer?!) equals the most GINORMOUS waves!!

There were waves crashing over the top of my head and pummeling me down into the sand, twisting and turning me so much that a few times I thought (quite dramatically on hindsight) that I could be a gonner! On a sidenote, whilst fun, this also caused bikini issues that resulted in me accidently flashing a young boy... he looked quite shocked eek!!

Also, the best thing about these places is the FOOD... fresh yummy seafood and cocktails (of course) mmmmm!

All I need now is a hammock and coconut with straw and Im all set :-)
