Went to a embroidery seminar in a place in China today, the name eludes me.. (I slept nearly all of the 3hr journey there and back). A few interesting foot notes on the day:

1. The entire seminar took place in Cantonese... so learnt an abundance of new information (I write with a sarcastic tone).

2. Lunch was served in Mickey Mouse bowls... entirely unimpressed.

3. On the way back to the border our driver missed the turn and felt it was perfectly acceptable to pull a U-turn heading the wrong way down a slip road straight into the path of a ridiculously large lorry.

4. It was very much on the chilly side today, and yet the air con was still on full gale force setting, in the car, in the building, in the restaurant.

Anyone out there with sensible explanation for any of the above feel free to enlighten me!
