The return journey from island paradise allowed me the opportunity for a Singapore stopover. With 10 hours to kill between flights, a mini adventure into Singapore city centre was decided upon. My exploration did not allow me a huge opportunity for detailed analysis, (especially since my end destination was the bar district) but from what little I saw I did find it very clean with pretty lights and buildings. I also noticed a distinct lack of fashionably dressed people - think pikeys with glitter and lycra - and the discovery that in Singapore the drinks are obviously made from pure gold, given the prices.
Highlight of the evening was a bar named 'The Clinic' which featured a hospital theme complete with wheelchairs !

Merely a few hours left of this working week before I hop onto a plane once again and come to claim those giant hugsys, pray that the stupid snow storm will end extremely soon (Transport chaos!).
