Well, let me start off by sending out bucketloads of thank-you muchlys to all you wonderful people who sent me birthday love! I received a bulk delivery of cards and presents on my actual Bday in Sz which really made my day… Everyone in the office was commenting on the level of love coming my way across the waters and I have to admit I was seriously impressed with the efforts and also a little overwhelmed!

So didn’t have that much of a crazy one since Im now officially a grown up (no sarky comments required thank you please!). Went for dinner and drinks and did the usual Saturday night shizzle… during a mini typhoon I might add… we had our 1st flag warning. Starts at level one and goes up to an 8.. at an 8 you have to go straight home and baton down the hatches since it is too dangerous to be out and about. We had a level 3 and I thought I was going to be blown out to sea or washed down a drain the rain was that heavy and wind so strong – forget umbrellas, they were of zero use!
Speaking of weather it is generally ridiculously hot at the moment and only set to get worse. I am trying to keep layered up in an attempt to build my heat tolerance in preparation for the extreme heat that lies ahead (aghhH) and have admitted defeat on the hair front and have accepted that afro frizz is now part of my life now that I live in Asia (NOT a good look, just how am I supposed to look fabulous with shite hair?! Lol)

I am just about to finish up in the Fit Tech dept which has included some long hours. Working with the technical teams increasing your attention to detail and you have to be so thorough, which takes up so much time. Other than that have also been working with the Product Development dept still (ongoing) and finding it a tad frustrating at times. Its looking almost certain that this is the dept I will join in Sept so I am just itching to get fully involved

Other than that I have some more drunken tales to report of losing my phone in sz (but then finding it again at the restaurant I was in –phew) and being out at the weekend and getting ridiculously intoxicated, falling over thus producing a suspicious looking disco bruise lump on my wrist (ouch) and snapping my bankcard in half by accident doh.

Being roped into playing badminton which was surprisingly enjoyable – it was the 1st time I have stepped foot inside a gym since I got here, and about time too!

Having to pay extortionate doctors fees for my booster jabs to protect against horrible tropical disease.

Being approached by the crazy Chinese man who lives near me (see earlier entrys) to appear in his advertisements for French wine… dodger alert!

Olympic torch shizzle going on in Hk this week… no problems or major protests going on at this end, major crowded. They were trying to get everyone to wear red in support, (or orange in protest!)

Read a story about an infested sewage pipe that burst in a shopping centre which resulted in a downpour of skanky cockroaches on unsuspecting shoppers heads… EWWWW!
