Got taken on a magical mystery tour to a new spot in HK at the weekend, known for its surf. To get there involved driving, taxi to the pier and then small hire boat to the island.
Once there, I took a pew on the rocks, soaked up some sunshine, watched the surfers thinking simultaneously that I wish I was capable of standing upright on a wave, and also... what an absolute bunch of nutters (mostly due to my pathological fear of the ocean -which I am working on).
Felt rather inspired, did some sketching in the late afternoon sun and witnessed this beautiful sunset:
